Endo was completed with a greater curve band in place to aid isolation of the deep distal margin. Because the index doesn't touch the interproximal areas, it will still fully seat with the band in place. The cusp tips were reduced 2mm to allow adequate thickness of composite. The tooth was incrementally built up. With each increment, a piece of teflon tape was placed over it and the index pressed down to ensure the preop anatomy was not distorted. The matrix is easily seated onto the neighboring teeth
