Socket preservation with collagen membrane and allograft for a root fractured tooth
This is a 43 y/o female without systemic diseases and smoking.There was a sinus tract on 25 buccal side and root fractured was suspected by the endodontist.
After disinfection with diode laser and atraumatic extraction,buccal bone wall lost was noted and socket preservation was performed by collagen membrane and FDBA.Primary closure was essential.
Implant fixture was then inserted post 3 months.
