Initial Situation: Buccal view of Tooth 22 to be extracted due to multiple crown fractures and periapical infections.Occlusal view: Slight inflammation of marginal gingiva and mesial papilla. A shallow pocket of 4mm was recorded buccaly.CBCT axial image: root engages the buccal socket wall (Class 1 in Kan's Classification). A simultaneous apicoectomy is scheduled during the PET procedure.After decoronation.After extraction of the palatal fragment of the root and the apicoectomy.Socket Shield preparation.Implant placement in the correct position 3.5 mm behind thel Shield.Photodynamic therapy with toluidine blue and Diode laser 645nm prior to implant placement.Note the apical part of the implant through the apicoectomy.Preparation of APRF liquid sticky bone.
