Minimally invasive regeneration surgery with EMD for perio-endo combined lesion
This is 45 y/o male patient without smoking and systemic diseases.
There was a perio-endo combined lesion at 37 with root resorption,mobility grade I and furcation involvement.The initial prognosis was questionable.After RCT,minimally invasive regeneration surgery was performed with Emdogain applied under 4.5x loupes.
After 6 months,the bone density was improved without mobility and the prognosis turned to be fair.
It is our responsibility to save natural teeth and regeneration can change the prognosis.
