Er,Cr:YSGG laser-assisted GBR to treat peri-implantitis in a SMOKER with dual-layered collagen membranes under microscopes
This is a 50 y/o male smoker with broken screws in upper left implant prosthesis accompanying bone loss around the implants.
Broken screws were removed by P5 instruments and implant surface debridement was performed with Er,Cr:YSGG laser.Then GBR was done with dual-layered collagen membranes and FDBA bone grafts.
The 6-month healing of 25 distal side was not so good but 27 seemed to achieve complete re-osseointegration on CT image.
